Nice place, attentive, pleasant staff. Food was tasty, prompt, well prepared. Beer was worth the walk. Will return.

The actually very beautiful location has gradually been made unsympathetic by the operators in recent years. Too high prices for too little quality. One of the few possibilities in Wuppertal to spend the evening in a rustic, tasty and real brewery atmosphere was given away. Nobody who has ever eaten or drunk in a brewery / inn in southern Germany will really feel at home here. It's a shame.

Just checked out the Oktoberfest menu. The prices are now completely lifted. The management needn't be surprised that hardly anyone comes.

After 1 hour of waiting the food came without cutlery. Okay in taste. Ambience class. Decoration great. So nothing special about the place. You don't have to have it anymore. There is definitely still room for improvement. I just wonder what the owners do when it's full?

Great place to go with your familily, frends. Inside you can see a miniature Wuppertaler Schwebebahn (zweeftrein). The food is great, good price and good service. It's easy to park there.

Rustic, nice and sunny, delicious beer, knuckle of crust, lots of crust and tasty, Kaiserschmarrn very good, very loving, attentive service. We had a great Sunday lunch. PS huge schnapps, awesome.

This "brewery" is unique far and wide because this location used to be a spa where I used to swim a lot as a child! It is now a great, large food and beer brewery with home-brewed beer and a terrific, delicious kitchen. There are food and drinks at reasonable prices, and the staff is very nice and friendly. Recommended !!!

It's no longer a shame a brewery atmosphere. Those who did not want to sit outside were only placed in the foyer or in the former open swimming area. The actually cozy areas were not opened due to enough staff. I haven't eaten so uncomfortably in a long time. Unfortunately, the dishes don't come close to a brewery flair either. I can get a schnitzel from the deep fryer for less in a chip shop where it can be more comfortable. What a shame..

- Drinking the brewery: You sit very nicely with historical flair in the former bathhouse, which is now a brewery. Both outside in the cozy beer garden and inside in the beautiful, spacious brewery halls with a great atmosphere. Also ideal for events. Service was very friendly, but unfortunately the waiting time in the evening was a bit long for the order and the bill. We just had a drink; Price performance ratio was ok and everything was clean.

I celebrated my birthday in the brewery yesterday with some friends. It was a great evening. Drawing a beer yourself was fun. Great service.

I love the brewery. The people who work there are quick and effective and have funny (pointy) comments here and there. You might have to like it, but I think it's great that there's never a hectic pace. In addition, the food is delicious and of course the beer is great. And if all of this is still not enough for you, you just have to take a look at the location itself. And where else in Wuppertal is there such a great beer garden? So big praise and thank you from me and keep it up!

Super location in a former swimming pool. Good beer and something nice from the kitchen. Fair prices let you spend one or two evenings here.

Reserve a table by phone 2 days in advance. As the weather was good, a table on the terrace was blocked. Neat name tag with exact time from when the table is occupied. Enter the corona data sheet. When we came everything was ready and clean. No problem despite the delay of other parts of our team. Finally a good hearty meal. Delicious homemade juice cocktails. It was just very nice and nice. Gladly again.

Super nice service, great atmosphere, especially in the beer garden when the sun is shining. The menu is a bit small so 1 point deduction. A slightly larger selection would be nice. Despite everything, the food is VERY, VERY delicious !! The house own beer is definitely recommended.

Great food

Huge beer hall - you can see that it used to be a swimming pool. Note that the entrance is really off the Market, not on the street where it's address suggests (which is where Google directs you). 4 beers on tap, a helles, a dunkel, a rotes (like a Märtzen), and a wiezen. Also a pils available in a bottle. Service was friendly if not especially fast. Was definitely worth the walk from the Alter Markt Schwebebahn stop.

Lovely place to hang out with friends. Enjoyed the beer especially.

While the food is not the best, the beer is very good and this place is worth the visit for the interior, which used to be a swimming pool before. Check out the mural in the bathroom (at least for guys)

The selection of beers is not particularly large, but the quality is very good. The location (old indoor pool) and the service are very good, but unfortunately the food is now difficult to enjoy! Everything has a strange aftertaste. The potato dishes are good. Unfortunately, the coffee was also extremely watery.

Nice service and place to enjoy with family

Fantastic location in the old Victorian swimming hall. Great food, my favourite here is the pork knuckle (schweinehaxe). There is a micro brewery brewing their own weissbier and dunkel - both excellent

Great place to have some beers and have a nice time. The red beer original from the Wuppertaler Brauhaus is really good and tasty. I highly recommend the Schnitzel and the Nurenberger Bratwurst as well.
